Entering codes in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight deviates slightly from older franchise titles. The primary entry portal sits directly inside the Batcave hub, located on the console terminal immediately to the left of the central supercomputer display. Alternatively, players can pause gameplay during Gotham City free play, navigate to the Batcave extras menu, and select the alphanumeric prompt.
Reports published by Eurogamer confirm that inputting six-character alphanumeric sequences does not disable game saves or lock users out of system trophies. This shift reflects modern development priorities. TT Games has treated these codes as discoverable promotional tools rather than unauthorized system overrides. Entering strings awards immediate profile access to the item, automatically adding the figure to the character selection grid without deducting collected currency.
