Most failed attempts at Level 78 stem from three common mistakes:
First, players frequently try to ramp over the obstacle by building maximum speed from the back of the platform. Level 78 features an intentional ceiling clearance and track angle that makes jumping impossible. High-speed approaches simply smash the truck's front grill into the obstacle, shattering the voxel blocks on impact.
Second, drivers panic when the truck tilts and hold down reverse for too long. If you stay on the reverse key after the front wheels clear the crest, the truck shoots backward off the platform edge into the abyss. The reverse tap should last no longer than a heartbeat, serving only to level out the frame.
Third, players often forget that the rear wheels also have to pass the snag. After easing the front over, many drivers immediately mash the gas. The front wheels pull forward, but the rear tires strike the ridge under full acceleration, kicking the back of the truck into an end-over-end somersault. You must wait until all four contact patches touch the downhill ramp before opening the throttle completely.
