Dobrev’s personal life drew equal public attention throughout 2026. After four years together, her high-profile relationship with three-time Olympic gold medal snowboarder Shaun White quietly concluded. The pair, who initially connected in late 2019 and navigated the pandemic together, maintained an amicable separation as their respective business and travel schedules pulled them toward separate pursuits.
By mid-2026, Dobrev re-entered headlines when photographers spotted her spending time in New York City with Australian model Dougie Joseph. Industry outlets confirmed the pairing in July 2026, noting that the duo had developed a low-profile romance built around shared interests in international travel, fitness, and design.
Unlike previous relationships that played out heavily on red carpets and coordinated social media posts, Dobrev kept this new phase noticeably more private. Observers noted that her deliberate boundary-setting mirrors a wider career trend: retaining ownership over her private life while letting her screen roles and corporate investments do the public talking.
