Q1: Can the Merlin NPC roll a Nova modifier onto my fishing rod?
A1: No. The Merlin NPC only pulls from the standard rod enchantment pool, which includes perks like Steady, Resilient, Controlled, Sea King, and Mutated. Nova is strictly a fish mutation.
Q2: What is the fastest way to get a Nova fish in Fisch?
A2: Fish during active Starfall or Meteor Shower server weather events while using the Astraeus Serenade Rod or a rod with the Mutated enchantment, supplemented by mutation-boosting bait.
Q3: How much does the Nova mutation increase a fish's sell price?
A3: The Nova mutation typically applies a valuation multiplier between 5.0x and 5.5x base value, which scales further if the fish also rolls an enlarged or Colossal weight bracket.
